Although this never happened, similar projects were undertaken in surrounding cities, only to be later reversed.

The game isn't just entertaining; it carries a serious message about the dangers of car dependency. Players must contend with environmental consequences, such as leaking fuel tankers and plastic trees replacing destroyed vegetation. The game's goal is to make players recognize the absurdity of car dependency and its long-term impacts.

Car Park Capital not only entertains but also prompts players to reflect on the consequences of car-centric development in modern civilization. Its visual style, reminiscent of 90s RollerCoaster Tycoon games, enhances the game's humorous and satirical tone.
