Based on the vampire book trilogy by Chuck Hogan and Guillermo del Toro, it is evident that the series does not rely on standard directorial clichés and grand scenes. There are threads that seem to be highlighted without reason or take absolutely illogical turns.
The author duo also participated in the series' production, along with Carlton Cuse, who is also known for Lost.
Despite being an adaptation of a book and having a successful start, many believe it did not live up to the expectations.
For those who haven't seen it yet, it might be worth catching up, at least giving it a chance. Fans of dark-themed series will be curious about all four seasons! The plot begins with a passenger plane successfully landing at New York's JFK airport, but after landing, the power goes out, and communication with the aircraft is lost. Those who board find everyone dead, yet somehow a few people revive a few minutes later, and something is very wrong with them. Initially, a mysterious disease is suspected to be behind it.
